   Amsterdam News’ 100th Anniversary Gala

67th United States Secretary of State Hon. Hillary Clinton, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., NYS Congressman the Hon. Charlie Rangel, William (Bill) Lynch, and Donahue Peebles were honored at the 100th Anniversary of the publication of The Amsterdam News.

I’m proud to say that “Classic Soul Revue” was the entertainment for this event. CSR’s musical repertoire

covered eight (8) decades of timeless music...the early 1900’s thru the 1980’s...Everything from Ragtime to Rhythm and Blues. It was an amazing event!

A star studded gala graced by the likes of 42nd President of the United States William (Bill) Jefferson Clinton, NYS Gov. David S. Patterson, Barnes and Noble’s CEO Leonard Riggio, former NYC Comptroller Hon. Bill Thompson, the Rev. Al Sharpton, former NYC  Mayor the Hon. David Dinkens, NY Amsterdam
